Air Fryer Salmon

Considered a superfood, the nutrition facts of salmon include antioxidant elements like selenium and other minerals like phosphorus, zinc, and potassium, as well as the vitamin B group - riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, B6, folate, and B12.

Air Fryer Salmon

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, and other essential nutrients

Ingredients

Wild caught salmon fillets – 2 (1-1/2-inch fillets)
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds powder – 1/2 tsp
Sea Salt – 1/4 tsp
Ginger – 1 tbsp (crushed)
Garlic – 4 cloves (crushed)
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Coconut oil or avocado oil – 1 tsp
Cilantro leaves – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp (for garnish)

Instructions

Clean the fish and use little turmeric to rinse off the fishy smell if any.
Combine all the masala – turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, fennel seeds powder, crushed ginger, crushed garlic, salt, lemon juice and 1 tsp oil in a bowl and make a thick paste.
Apply the masala all over the fish and marinate for 10 minutes.
Place fillets in the basket of the air fryer.
Set air fryer at 390 degrees (198 Celsius) for 7 minutes for 1-1/2-inch fillets.
When timer goes off, open basket and check fillets with a fork to make sure they are done to your desired doneness.
Garnish with some cilantro leaves and squeeze some lemon juice.
Remove and serve hot as a side dish.
