Air Fryer Spicy Shrimp
High in several vitamins and minerals and is a rich source of protein
Ingredients
Raw shrimp (peeled and deveined) – 1 pound
Coconut oil or avocado oil – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Paprika powder – 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder – 1/4 tsp.
Sea salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
Ground cumin – 1/2 tsp
Ground dried mustard – 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the air fyer to 400 degrees (204 Celsius) for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the spices together: chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cumin and ground mustard. Stir to combine.
Drizzle the shrimp with avocado (or coconut) oil and toss the shrimp in this spice mixture.
Place shrimp in preheated air fryer basket and spread out in a single layer for even cooking.
Spray the shrimp with cooking spray if desired. Place in air fryer and bake for 7 minutes. Flip halfway through if desired but not required.
Remove and transfer the shrimp to a serving plate and squeeze some lemon juice and serve hot.
