Paneer is rich in protein content and dietary fibers which are beneficial in digestion through improving the metabolism therefore it helps in weight loss.
Paneer Bhurji (or Tofu)
Excellent source of protein, calcium, selenium and potassium
Ingredients
Tofu or Paneer – 8 oz. (250-300 gms)
Coconut oil or avocado oil – 1 tbsp
Onions finely chopped – 3/4 cup
Tomato finely chopped – 3/4 cup
Green peas – 1/2 cup steamed
Garlic/ginger paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Cumin-coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Sea Salt (as per taste)
Cilantro leaves – 1 tbsp finely chopped
Instructions
Heat a pan on medium heat. Add oil.
Add finely chopped onion and sauté it for 2-3 mins or till it turns translucent.
Add green peas, tomatoes and ginger garlic paste and saute it for 2-3 more mins.
Add all the spices along with salt and mix it well.
After that add Crumble tofu or paneer and mix everything thoroughly.
Garnish with cilantro leaves.
Serve with dosa or roti.
